Phosphate is an important nutrient for all organisms, but it is only required in small quantities. If there is too much phosphate in the water, a nutrient imbalance occurs and unsightly algae can develop. The phosphate remover in the 150 g tin quickly reduces PO4 in the aquarium to minimal levels that can be easily absorbed by the plants. 100 g bind 2.4 g of phosphate in a very short time! Once bound, phosphate is no longer dissolved back into the water. The phosphate remover creates an ideal aquarium climate for animals and plants with a low phosphate requirement. It does not cloud or colour the water and is free from heavy metals. The powder is packed ready for use in a practical mesh bag, which only needs to be rinsed out and inserted into the filter. If necessary, it can be replaced after 2 to 6 weeks.

Recommended dosage
Rinse the mesh bag under running water and insert into the filter. Replace after 2 to 6 weeks, depending on the phosphate load of the aquarium water. 1 net bag (60 g) for 100 litres of aquarium water; 1 net bag (150 g) for 250 litres of aquarium water; 2 net bags (150 g each) for 500 litres of aquarium water
