Denitrifying bacteria, which are dependent on oxygen-free conditions, break down nitrate in the aquarium. However, in many filters there are hardly any sufficiently large anaerobic zones. The nitrate value then often rises sharply, which can lead to algae growth and affect the aquarium inhabitants. Nitrate Remover Pellets with 120 g content offers a natural solution: the filter medium promotes the formation of biofilms with sufficiently large anaerobic zones. 100 g of Nitrate Remover breaks down up to 30 g of nitrate and also improves the water quality in the long term. This means that less water needs to be changed, which in turn reduces stress for the aquarium inhabitants. Nitrate Remover Pellets increases the carbonate hardness of the water and has a stabilising effect on the pH value. The combination with the active denitrifiers in the product BoostMix Clear Water Bacteria is ideal.

Recommended dosage
